We bought two new fish on the weekend so our tank looks a little more ‘lively’ again.  It was sad to have lost 3 fish in a matter of months, am still missing Barney, the clownfish, and would have loved to get another clown but they didn’t have any at the pet store on the weekend.  Instead we got two completely ‘opposite’ fish.  The first one we got is called a Coral Beauty, so, naturally, we have named her Beauty as she is rather pretty and a very active fish, always swimming around getting stuff off the rocks.  I haven’t managed to snap any pics yet, but this is what Beauty looks like:

See..isn’t she pretty?  The other fish, well I wouldn’t call him pretty, he’s a Salarius Blenny and is an algae eater and oh my, does he ever do good work, lol.  This is what he looks like:

Ya..not exactly ‘pretty’, the boy said last night he looks kinda like a dragon, and I don’t disagree.  Here’s hoping these guys are around for a while as we enjoy watching them and their antics.  Yes, fish have antics…nevermind.

It’s a very sunny day here today, and it has been a while since we have had this much ‘pure sun’, as in sun that lasts longer than an hour or so before getting consumed by clouds, and the pets are certainly enjoying it.  The dog didn’t want to lay on her blanket, but chose to sit a few feet away in the sun that was cascading across the floor, but looked guilty as she knew wasn’t supposed to be off her blanket.  I couldn’t help but laugh as she sat there, eyes closed, just soaking up the rays.  So, I moved her blanket into the sunspot, and she wasted no time sprawling out so as to enjoy the full effect of the sun’s warmth.  And, as I type this, my cat is laying on the bed next to the desk soaking up as many rays as his white fur will allow.  Now if only I could lay in the sun and sleep all day…

We got quite the snowfall yesterday and my dog thought she would help me clear the walk. Who knew that bulldogs loved the snow quite this much? Maybe they don’t, but ours most certainly does!!

Ok, that doesn’t sound/look very good does it?  I was trying to be creative, but it sounded better than it looked.  I was trying to combine mojo and blog, hence blog-jo.  As in, I am feeling no mojo when it comes to my blog the past couple of days.  I tried not to let the whole Google pagerank BS bug me, but it has recently, as it is quite simply that, BS.  I guess I just need to get creative and get around it, but it still frustrates me.  That and my blog needs a new look, getting kinda bored with this one and the fact that anytime I want to change something the whole blog goes bye, bye and I need the boy to fix it for me.  That certainly is no fun when I want to do something so simple as change an ad and my entire blog just disappears.  I just feel like I’ve got nothing to write about, when, I guess if I gave it any amount of thought I really do, like how we spent an hour the other day trying to catch a fish in our tank that was on his way to fish heaven, but we wanted to send him there a little sooner so as to not infect any other fish.  Let me tell you, you’d think you would have the advantage over the fish, but, you do not.  Not when there are rocks in there for him to hide under, even when you move said rocks, fish still finds a place to hide.  We admired your stealthiness Brain, and we didn’t like doing what we did, but you are in a better place now, suffering no more.

Anyhoo…guess my blog-jo wasn’t totally gone after all?  Look what happens when you try eh?
