Wholesale Flowers

I must admit, this is a concept I hadn’t give much thought to, but it certainly makes a lot of sense. The idea of wholesale flowers is an interesting one and easily accessible with the Internet these days. There are several ways this could be of benefit to many people. For one, guys should band together and put their money together and order their Valentine’s roses from a wholesaler, would be a lot cheaper than getting a bouquet from your local florist, you could probably give your girl twice as many roses from a wholesaler for the same it would cost you for half the amount at a florist. An idea that sparked with me is, weddings. Since I’m getting married at some point in life, it might be much more cost effective to choose my flowers through a wholesaler as opposed to the usual bridal shops and the like. Sure, they may not be as ‘arranged’, perhaps, but I am creative enough to put together my own floral arrangements if it’s going to save me some money. I’ll do just about anything myself if it means I’m going to save a few bucks, lol.

Quote of the Day

I thought of this yesterday, then forgot about it..and lo and behold I remembered it again…

wedding-mag.jpgA couple nights ago my brother called with some information on a possible wedding venue for myself and the boy.  This led the boy and I to discuss the wedding a little and where we would like to have it and so on and get into a few of the ‘details’ of wedding planning (like catering and such).  We have maybe narrowed the date down to two months, June or August.  The boy says, once we have a date it won’t be so bad.  To which I reminded him of all the things that follow and said, Argh, there’s no way we can get married in June, let alone in August, I can’t plan all this stuff.  He goes, let me plan it all.  You make a list and I will take care of the rest.  I laughed and said, right, then I’d have no control over it.  He goes, well, making lists is what you love to do and you’re good at.  Then I mentioned something else wedding related and he had his little moment of stress which leads me to the quote of the day where he goes…

“I can’t handle this, I REALLY NEED to get a wedding magazine.  I need to read up on some ways to plan a budget friendly wedding.”

Isn’t he just too cute?
