After living in my apartment for five years, I moved at the end of August to start the next phase of my life with my one and only. I moved in with my fiance who owns a townhouse on the other side of town from where my apartment is/was.
On the weekend, I noticed that one of the units that recently sold had been vacated by it’s original owner and the new owner had moved their boat over here as it was parked along the fence in the extra parking for unit owners. I made a comment about, oh, the new person must be moving into that apartment as there’s a boat there now and how they probably would have liked to have parked it at the end of the complex where there’s extra parking for that type of stuff, but which we just occupied when a free spot came available that morning with one of our cars. When we were heading out that day to grab some lunch and take the dogs for a good run, I thought, and vocalized, hmm, that looks like a boat that someone in my apartment had, he couldn’t keep it at the building, but he’d often park his truck out front with it in tow during the summer. Then I thought, na, I don’t think it is as that would be quite odd for him to be moving here. As we drove by the townhouse I noticed a sports car parked in there that was also very reminiscent of a vehicle he used to keep parked at the apartment complex. I was like, no way, that is too weird that he would be moving in here two months after I did. I was stunned at how random that is, but couldn’t be 100% that it was actually the same guy as his truck wasn’t there.
Well, the boy informed me yesterday that he saw his truck there when he was leaving for work in the morning, so it is indeed the same guy. Isn’t that odd? He moved into the apartment building shortly after I did and we used to park beside each other and he was always nice, one of the few who would acknowledge your presence around there. And now, he’s living here? Kinda funny/odd to me the way things go…then again, maybe he’s stalking me…hmmmmm, where did I put that pepper spray?
