I have never been to Hawaii and even though I’m about as fair skinned as they come, I wouldn’t pass up the chance to visit the spectacular paradise. If I was so lucky as to get a hawaiian vacation I think it would be neat to rent a condo to really get the full experience. Of course, if I chose this route, I would want to have at least a month so I could get to fully enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. Hmm, what a great idea for a honeymoon this would be, a month in Hawaii, now that’s what I call relaxing.

I’m wondering if I’m the only one who, whenever they are getting company, has a million and one things to get done around the house before they arrive? I wish I wasn’t so anal about this kind of thing, but I want everything to be ‘perfect’ when I know I’m getting guests. I mean, in reality, if it’s good enough for me, it should be good enough for guests, but, oh no, everything has to be tickity boo for guest arrival. All it does is turn me into one big stressball and cause me to run around like a headless chicken, usually still doing finishing touches as the guests are pulling in. The boy? Well, he doesn’t really care and thinks it’s no big deal and doesn’t really get why I get myself into such a tizzy over it all. I can’t say I can totally explain it, just that I like to put forward a good impression even though I know most people don’t really care..but I do and I guess that’s what counts. Although, some days, I really wish I was a guy and just didn’t care quite so much…but I’m not, so I must be off to attack my to do list.

Strange title I know, but it is true, I can see the bed.  A little explanation is needed here.  When I moved in with the boy a couple months ago, my bed was set up in the spare room and turned into a ‘dumping ground’ for stuff that had to be organized (aka clothing) and other miscellaneous items that I either didn’t feel like dealing with or had no idea what to do with at the time.  So, therefore, the bed was not visible underneath all the piles of ’stuff’ on top of it.  Well, there’s nothing like the impending arrival of company to stir a person into action and get things sorted.  It seems to be taking me forever to get it done, but I can finally see the bed.  Woo hoo!!  I have everything that was on it sorted and have three garbage bags worth of clothing to donate and still have a few boxes of things to go through.  Now, has anyone seen the cat?  I fear he got lost in one of my new piles…
