I am seriously considering putting a camcorder on my wedding wish list. I haven’t discussed it with the boy yet, but I would love to have one. That said, I also need to find someone who already has one and that is good at using it to shoot some video of our wedding. I will have to get asking as I do want that day recorded in the hopes of capturing some great memories. I kind of feel bad putting something like that on my wedding list, since my camera has video recording abilities, but if the lighting isn’t perfect, the video turns out very dark, and that can be quite a bummer when you are excited to see what you recorded and all there that is there are some shadowy images and sound. I must mention this to the boy and see what his thoughts are on it.

I was blessed to receive a laptop computer at Christmastime, and it wasn’t even a Christmas gift. Yes, I know I am one lucky girl. I was so shocked that it has taken quite a while to sink in that we actually own a working laptop. We had one before, but it was quite old and therefore very finicky and would shut off when it decided it didn’t want to work anymore, needless to say it didn’t really get used. Now that I have a nice, shiny laptop that works fabulously I feel so spoiled. I love the freedom it provides, especially on these sweltering summer days, I don’t have to be trapped in a hot, stuffy room if I want to use the computer and I LOVE that!!

I have been racking my brain trying to come up with something fun to do this weekend and haven’t got too far yet. I would have loved to go camping this weekend as the boy and I have not been out yet this year, but there are a couple circumstances that make it not very feasible at this moment. My second thought is to find a nice cool spot to spend the day since it is supposed to be quite warm tomorrow, but I have not come up with that spot yet either. My days are so jumbled as the past 2 weekends have not been ‘mine’ to spend as I wish since we’ve had company and I was away up until last Saturday afternoon. I almost don’t know what to do with an entire weekend in which I can dictate exactly what will happen…I must ask the boy what he wants to..:-)

I have looked at my fair share of invitations lately, from the basic party invitations to elaborate wedding invites, all on the quest for ideas for my own wedding invitations. I have to get something figured out sooner rather than later in this regard, but I have yet to settle on something I am super crazy about. Nothing has jumped out and said, this is it, and I am finding it quite frustrating. I have liked certain aspects of many invites, but can’t seem to find something that I can say I like as a whole and want to use. I will have to buckle down and get to making a choice soon though as time is running out on getting them sent out or there might not be anyone at my wedding!
