Perhaps

Well, one gift I did not receive for Christmas was a treadmill but with all the eating and sitting around that occurred I’m thinking maybe I should have asked for one. I tell myself that’s what the holidays are for, visiting, eating, presents and lazing around. I most certainly fulfilled all those ‘holiday criteria’ this year. Maybe if I had done more moving around and less eating I would not have come back home with a most unpleasant scratchy throat and cough. I sure hope this does not last long because I am so not enjoying it right now at all.

Chilly

One thing I hate about coming home after holidays in the winter is a cold house. It is just so not welcoming! I left some heat set low on the lower level, but the upper level is not at all pleasant. And it is taking a long time to warm up. Maybe I should vacate before I turn into an icicle.

Not in my stocking

Well, one thing that I know for sure that will not be in my stocking are Ferrari parts. It is probably safe to say that is something I will never find in my stocking or anywhere near me as I don’t foresee having the funds to spend on such a luxury. Not that it wouldn’t be nice to have a car like that in the driveway, but I have to keep things, even my dreams, a little more in the spectrum of remotely possible. Who knows though, if I am an extra good girl next year, Santa might just bless me with such a thing.

Trip planning

I think I have mentioned that as a wedding gift we were given a 10 day trip to anywhere we desire. I know, talk about the possibilities, making it very difficult to make any kind of decision. I mean, where does one even start with this kind of thing? Should I be checking out cabo san lucas hotels as part of my trip planning? For someone who has never been anywhere, the choices are endless and vary greatly. I guess we will have to make it one of my New Year’s resolutions, to figure out where we go on our big trip.
