As I stated a few posts ago, we bought ourselves a new TV a month ago. We looked at nearly every popular brand of TV on the market, which made our decision even harder I think because really, is any one that much better than the other? I really do not think you could go too far wrong purchasing from any of the brands we looked at. My Dad recently purchased a Samsung HDTV which he is quite happy with and which had us leaning towards doing the same. In the end, we didn’t, but only because we found the best deal on a different brand and we are all about saving money.

My parents and sister were in town yesterday and the day before on a quick trip for my sister to see a specialist. They also used the trip as an opportunity to do some shopping as where I live has much more to offer compared to where they reside. One thing my Dad purchased were some electrical supplies to complete his garage. I think he bought more than what he needed as he said they were a much better deal here than any store in his town. It was nice to see them and hopefully next time they can stay a little longer.

If I could, well, I guess I technically ‘could’, moreover, if I had the extra cash laying around I would definitely remodel our kitchen. There isn’t anything ‘wrong’ with it, I just think it could be so much better. I think it would be neat to have a kitchen with one of those copper sinks. I have seen them in a few different stores and think they are a nice feature. I doubt I will ever have a kitchen that would have something like that in it, but I can always dream.

We had been searching for a new TV since our wedding, in fact, I think even before the wedding we knew we had to get one as the picture tube on ours was starting to go. After the wedding we decided we would allocate some of our gift money for a new TV and we searched and searched and searched. We knew what we wanted but did not like the prices we were finding. We waited long enough and on the last day of 2009 found a deal we knew was the best we could get and finally purchased a nice shiny new TV. We are very happy we FINALLY bought one and have yet to look at any mounts for it as it took us so long to finally get a TV I could not imagine doing anything else TV-related for a long time.
