Muggy

I have never been one to have many promotional mugs sitting in my cupboard. There are a few in there, bought mostly for the mug more than the ‘promotion’ on the outside of it. I like things to be ‘matchy’ or co-ordinate so I do not wish for many more mugs that do not fit this category. I have often looked at these kind of mugs as gifts, but I do not think I have ever actually purchased one for a gift. I am not sure why other than I guess it just didn’t seem right and I questioned whether or not it would actually get used, which, if it didn’t well, that would be a waste of money and I am not one to be wasting cash.

Blow me away

I am getting rather tired of how windy it has been around here the last several days. A mild breeze I do not mind, especially on a hot day a little wind is a welcome thing. The massive gusts we have been getting are not a welcome thing. I think yesterday was the worst and was fully expecting something bad to happen, like a tree falling, but in this area we made it through ok. There were unidentified objects sailing past my upstairs window it was such a nasty gale. Things seem rather calm out there today and I’m hoping it stays that way.

One less thing

I consider myself rather lucky that I do not, at least so far in life, have to deal with herpes simplex type 1. I always had a steadfast rule that I never wavered from ‘no glove, no love’ and think it’s unfortunate that there are so many out there who do not venture into sex responsibly. If people were more careful and protective of their bodies there would not be such a spread of these unpleasant diseases and I find that most unfortunate because it really is not that hard to try and protect yourself.

Beginnings

In the beginning of our online ventures the boy and I made sure we sat down and dedicated certain tasks to each other to avoid both of us working on the same thing and to make sure each of us had our ‘roles’ defined to avoid complications, confusion and arguments down the line. Part of my responsibility was submissions, and let me tell you, I submitted our site to many a free web directory in the early stages of building our online presence. Of course, I could have hired a company to do all of it for me, but I kind of like things that are free, even if they require a bit more work, it is a lot more satisfying knowing I did it myself.
