I believe I wrote earlier about looking into more insurance for the two of us, well, I still have not done it. I was thinking I should check into online life insurance as that would let me do some research without having to commit to anything right away. This week has flown by and here we are at Friday and I did not have a chance to research a thing. I guess I will have to put it on a to do list for next week and hope I have a chance to look into it then.

Last year I completely missed the renewal date for our auto insurance by over a week. I am not one to miss important dates like that, but I must have been distracted with wedding details and the due date to renew our car insurance came and went without me having a clue. I did not realize until over a week later when we were getting something out of the back of the car and I happened to glance at the licence plate. Needless to say we were at the insurance place the next day getting that taken care of. We were lucky that the police didn’t notice before we did because I would not have been happy if I had to pay a ticket for something like that.

I woke up this morning knowing what I wanted to get done today and was in the mindset to accomplish it all. I have not done so well at getting anything accomplished and feel like my mind is going in ten different directions at once. I am lacking the focus I so desperately need today and it is getting quite frustrating. My morning did not start well and just when I thought my day was getting better I discovered an exotic bird in my backyard that most certainly did not belong there. Dealing with that took up precious time I did not have and caused me to lose any direction I thought I had found.

I am going to a wedding this weekend and realized a while ago that I had nothing to wear. I was stressing about it last week so the husband said he was taking me shopping and we were on a mission to find me an outfit so I could stop stressing and relax about it. We went to a few different places with no success and I was getting quite disappointed feeling that I was not going to find anything. I even tried on a tuxedo shirt as I was not ruling anything out. I did not end up getting it as it was not right for me, but thankfully I was able to get an outfit that I feel comfortable in and that fits me well.
